Basic Business Management
Basic Business Management Training is a course offered to the informal service centres participating in our programme, the training focuses on teaching mechanics about the basics of running a business. The Course takes place of three weeks with one class per week. Modules covered during the training are:
• Introduction to business,
• Marketing and customer care,
• Sales,
• Record keeping,
• Numeracy,
• Managing the income and expenses of a business,
• Purchasing,
• Costing and pricing,
• Operations credit control and
• Law and business.
Participants are encouraged to participates in various activities and group work, they are also encouraged to ask questions.
The Gauteng Enterprise Propella (GEP) is a Government agency which focuses on developing small businesses; they provide facilitators for the training of SMME’s.
