Metso Minerals South Africa approached Filpro (Pty) Ltd to roll out the Enterprise Development programme in the Northern Cape, Rustenburg and the Vereeniging. The aim of the programme is capacitate mechanical and automotive related SMME’s.
Service delivery activities that will take place include Training and Mentorship interventions such as:
• Product training
• Basic Business Training
• Finance Training
• Entrepreneurship Workshops
• Company Registrations with CIPC
We will aspire to empower and develop SMME’s through:
• Practice of Just-in-time skills transfer
• Sound Methodology
• Well-designed programmes
• Customisation of curricula
• Constant quality evaluation
• Integrated interventions which ensure maximum impact.
We will facilitate learning through the use of practical, workplace-related and easily understandable product and business training material, with a focus on just-in-time capacity building. SMME’s are to be given the opportunity to apply their knowledge in the workplace immediately, thus improving their performance before assessment and follow-up training take place.
