Filpro an Enterprise Development Company has been established to empower Informal Automotive Entrepreneurs.
Largely funded by G.U.D Filters a Proudly South African company.            
Filpro develops motor mechanics operating in previously disadvantaged communities.
Targeted beneficiaries of the programme have been divided into four categories,
Category A - Businesses operated on the side of the road,
Category B - Operating businesses from home, and
Category C - Operating business in established structures.
Category D - Non-Franchise part centres.

A number of training, coaching and mentoring programmes have been offered to mechanics to help equip them with resources to grow their businesses.
